

How to setup Custom Background in WordPress-:
Here I will tell you two methods to add a background image to a WordPress site and for this, you do not need any kind of coding knowledge. So let’s get started using WordPress Plugin using WordPress Theme Customizer…
1. Setup Custom Background Using WordPress Theme Customizer-:
There are many WordPress themes that support custom background image and with them, you can easily set a background image on your WordPress site. But if your theme does not allow adding a custom background image, then you can use another method. First login to your WordPress site and click Appearance >> Customize.
Here you will see a Background Image option. Just click on it. Then click on the Select Image button to add a background image to your site.
After the image is uploaded, you can select Preset, Image Position and Image Size for your background image. Now, click on the Publish button. You have successfully set the Custom Background Image in your WordPress site.
2. Adding Custom Background Image Using Plugin-:
If your theme does not have the custom background image feature, you can use the plugin. Here below is the plugin and method, using which you can set a Custom Background Image in your WordPress site. First, install and activate the Simple Full-Screen Background Image plugin in your site.
With this plugin, you can easily set a custom background image on your website. After activating the plugin, click Appearance >> Fullscreen BG Image and upload your background image.
Use background images that are at least 1600 × 1200px in your site so that your background image will scale automatically with the browser. After uploading your website background images, click on Save Options.

Conclusion-: Most of the WordPress Theme doe not provide Image background feature for such a theme use plugin. If your theme provides background feature then doe s not use the plugin because more use of plugin will increase your database size and slow down your website if your website hosted on Shared Hosting.
